The Philippine Academy of Family Physicians won the bid to be the next host-country for the Asia Pacific WONCA Conference (WONCA-AP) in 2026 in the Asia-Pacific Regional Council meeting held last October 21, 2023 at Sydney, Australia. It has been 15 years since the Philippines last hosted the same conference at Cebu. By staging the WONCA-AP in the country, we can showcase the Filipino way of care as applied in the primary care setting.
